The opposition criticizes the sale of municipal land in Kladno, according to it, the price is too low. The city will receive approximately nine million crowns for almost 5,000 sqm intended for development on the basis of the highest offer. The award came from eight bids submitted by the envelope method, said Mayor Milan Volf (Election for Kladno) at today’s meeting of deputies. Representatives approved the sale.
The town hall will sell the land in the Švermov district for CZK 1,769 per sqm plus VAT. “The land is currently not networked,” said Kladno City Council Councilor Ondřej Rys (for the Choice for Kladno).
According to the opposition representative Anna Gamanová (STAN), the prices of similar land in the area are at least double. Opposition representative Dan Jiránek (ODS) suggested that the city publish the sale plan nationwide, according to him, posting on the city’s official notice board is insufficient.
Municipal building land, for example, will also be sold by the nearby town of Slaný; in the autumn, it intends to sell it in the form of an electronic auction. The plots will be networked, the starting price will be CZK 3,500 per square meter, for parts of the land loaded with stored engineering networks and their protection zones it will be CZK 2,500 per sqm.
