Sales at Baneasa Shopping City in northern Bucharest increased by 5 percent in the first seven months of the year, according to the CEO of Baneasa Developments, George Argentopoulos. The number of visitors also increased by 7 to 8 percent, which helped boost overall sales. Retail sales at Baneasa Shopping Center surpassed €200m in 2013. Argentopoulos anticipates sales will remain stable this year. Tenants include Carrefour, Ikea, Metro, Mobexpert and Bricostore.
