Coolshop, a leading Scandinavian e-commerce company, is set to expand its operations into Poland. The company, which already serves over 2 million regular customers across Europe, announced that it will soon launch its Polish online store, coolshop.pl.
Coolshop offers a wide range of nearly 45,000 products from well-known brands, including licensed products from Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian companies, all in line with Scandinavian philosophy. Over the past five years, Coolshop has seen significant growth, tripling its revenues from PLN 357.2 million in 2019 to nearly PLN 1 billion in 2023. The company also increased its equity capital to PLN 106 million in the last financial year and has invested PLN 70 million in real estate and equipment, with PLN 30 million invested just last year. In addition to its online presence, Coolshop operates brick-and-mortar stores in Norway and Sweden.
Founded in Denmark in 2002 by brothers Mark and Mike Nielsen, Coolshop is part of the Cool Group, which encompasses 18 companies and organizations and employs 800 people across 14 countries. The group invests in retail, fashion, technology, business innovation, food products, and travel experiences.
Andrzej Rome, who previously worked with the Danish company Dangaard Group, will lead the Polish branch of Coolshop. Rome brings extensive experience in building and managing teams in Poland and developing foreign sales.
