Sfinks Polska recorded a unit net loss of PLN 19.42 million in 2021, the company said, presenting preliminary data. Gross profit on sales amounted to PLN 14.3 million. The EBITDA loss adjusted for the impact of IFRS16 amounted to PLN 8.86 million, according to the announcement. Sales revenue amounted to PLN 60.68 million in 2021.
Sfinks Polska announced its analysis as follows:
– receivables from its contractors, as a result of which estimated the impairment of receivables for the entire financial year 2021 in the total amount of PLN 6 720 thousand, of which 4 948 thousand. PLN is charged to the company’s financial result for 2021.
– the possibility of using the deferred tax asset, as a result of which it recognized in 2021 an increase in the income tax asset by PLN 667 thousand zloty; the above was mainly influenced by the prospects for the possibility of using tax losses.
In terms of sales volume and the number of restaurants, Sfinks is the largest casual dining chain in Poland. Sfinks Polska is also the third largest gastronomic company in Poland in terms of revenues. The company has been listed on the WSE since 2006.
