Siemens will be involved in a €4.6m reconstruction of the Dubrovo substation in Macedonia. The Macedonian operator AD MEPSO and consortium of SisKon and Siemens company signed a contract for the work to be carried out on the 44/110KV substation. Located in the suburbs of Negotino, the facility is a key component of Macedonia’s energy system and the transmission of 400Kv around the country. Outdated equipment, which dates back to 1977 when the structure was built, will be replaced. Siemens has already worked with MEPSO on similar projects such as Substation Stip, Petrovec, Tetovo 2, Skopje 4 and 5.
