SIF Banat – Crișana reached an agreement with the German retailers Kaufland, Lidl and Hornbach for the sale of the land of about 9 hectares of the former Helitube factory in the Colentina district of Bucharest, at a price of about EUR 34 mil. Recently, two urban planning certificates were issued on the site, one for the construction of a hypermarket and another for a retail store. Kaufland and Lidl will also buy from SIF, the 3-hectare land of the former Filan factory in the Pantelimon neighborhood, at a price of about EUR 12 mil. These sales come in the context in which SIF paid EUR 40 mil for the acquisition of the IMGB industrial platform, where it announced that it will undertake a major real estate development project.
