Skanska sells its first office building in Łodź

29 December 2014

Skanska sells Green Horizon, its first office development in Łodź, to a fund managed by Griffin Real Estate. The value of the transaction totals EUR 66 mln. It is Skanska’s third large sales transaction in the last two months after the sale of the first phase of Kapelanka 42 in Krakow and Dominikanski in Wroclaw.

The total leasable area of the two-building Green Horizon is 33,000 sqm. The entire complex was completed in the second quarter 2013 and is Skanska’s flagship investment. Green Horizon is already 96 percent leased, mainly to companies from the outsourcing sector, with major tenant Infosys BPO Poland, together with top brands as Southwestern and PwC.
Skanska Property Poland was advised on the transaction by Cushman & Wakefield, while the legal issues were secured by Dentons.
