The city of Bucharest has opened the Basarab Overpass internode transit station, the largest in the country, with the city’s mayor Sorin Oprescu present.
The building provides four elevators and four escalators.
The station allows access to several public means of transport such as subway, bus, tram, trolleybus from a single point.
The mayor said all that remains to be completed is the walkway connecting the tram station to Gara de Nord.
