Sotheby’s Romania achieved revenues of RON 2.14 mln in 2020, up 127%

The company specialised in trading historical and luxury properties, Sotheby’s Romania, announced a 127 percent increase in revenues for 2020.

“The year 2020 put us in front of great challenges, but it also brought unique development opportunities. We managed to maintain a healthy flow of transactions and to reach a value of the properties in the portfolio of RON 620 million, increasing by 25 percent compared to 2019, ”said Monica Barbu, CEO of Romania Sotheby’s International Realty.

Sotheby’s International Realty entered the Romanian market in July 2020 through the association with Artmark Historical Estate, a company founded in 2014 and which belonged to the Artmark group.

Among the properties sold last year are the Dimachi-Arghiropol mansion, the Balaban Inn in Transylvania, the Cantacuzino Villa in Călimănești, as well as the house in Bedeciu village, Cluj county.
