SPAR has completed a new 5.000 square meter commercial complex in Törökbálint on the outskirts of Budapest. The investment cost EUR 8m and according to SPAR it used environmentally friendly solutions to complete. Besides a SPAR supermarket, the complex will have additional shops, and create an additional 50 new jobs. The supermarket itself has green solutions including low-consumption LED lamps in the sales area, and environmentally friendly cooling technology. The complex also includes a 9.000 sq.m. carpark, electric car chargers and a playground for families with kids.
