A total of six new restaurants will be added to new 3,500 sqm food court on the first floor of the Quadrio shopping center on top of the Národní třída metro station in Prague 1. Vapiano and Creperie’s openings on August 1 will be followed by further concepts in September, including Spicymama, Loving Hut and Bombay Express. Cushman & Wakefield, which brokered the leases, believes that restaurants are key factors in the success of retail projects, and their share at shopping centers is constantly increasing. In the Czech Republic, restaurants account for 5 to 10 percent of a center’s tenant mix, and the consultancy estimates it will grow to 10 to 15 percent.
