The Serbian Competition Commission, has approved the part purchase of Mercator-S’s assets in Belgrade by Sport Time Balkans. Sport Time Balkans (STB) is the exclusive distributor of Nike for Serbia, BiH, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania, and has three related companies in Serbia: Planet Sport, Sport Vision and Logistar. STB bought New Belgrade’s Roda Mega from Mercator-S, which consists of a shopping center building in New Belgrade, as well 22,477 sqm of construction land. The Serbian Competition Commission examined the impact of such a transaction and reported it would not threaten market competition.
