Starbucks signed a lease at the Veranda shopping center, currently under development by Prodplast Imobiliare in Bucharest, pushing the occupancy level to around 85 percent. The coffeehouse chain will occupy an interior space in the food court area on the ground floor of the shopping center. Set to open later this year, Veranda will offer approximately 30,000 sqm of space.
“Starbucks completes the diversified offer that we are going to have in Veranda’s food court, so that visitors will be able to choose from a wide range of leisure options,” said Andrei Pogonaru of Prodplast Imobiliare. “At the moment, all the spaces in the food court are leased, or we are in advanced discussions with tenants.” Other food court tenants include Oro Toro, Pizza Coloseum, Salad Box, K-Grill, Rustic, Toan’s, Spartan and Sweet by Marvio pastry.
