Starbucks is planning a Slovak expansion. AmRest, the owner of the Starbucks’ license, has already started hiring store managers and assistants for potential branches the coffee chain plans to open in the country. AmRest operates the Starbucks network in the CE region, as well as KFC, PizzaHut and Burger King. Starbucks already has 94 cafés across the region, including 23 locations in the Czech Republic. In addition to Slovakia, Starbucks is also looking to expand to Italy.
