The Hungarian government signed a strategic partnership with Tesco on Tuesday. The agreement was signed by State Secretary Zoltán Cséfalvay on the behalf of the Economy Ministry and Gerard Grey, CEO of Tesco-Global Stores, which is the local unit of the UK-based group. Through this partnership, Cséfalvy said the government hopes to promote vocational training and increase the number of suppliers for both parties. This partnership is the latest in a series of agreements the government is signing with major companies in strategic industries.
