The fast food chain Subway will opened its first restaurant in Timisoara, inside Iulius Mall. This is the third Subway location inside the Iulius Group network, after other two were opened in Palas Iasi and Iulius Mall Cluj.
The first local Subway restaurant was opened in April in Bucharest, close to Victoriei square.
This year, Subway fast food chain plans to open in Romania 40 units, said Ziarul Financiar. In 2011, Subway had over 33,400 restaurants in the world and ranks itself as the largest such chain globally.
