Suzlon plans new wind farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The company Suzlon Wind Energy Bosnnia and Herzegovina will be building a new wind farm near the Bosnian town of Hadzic. The investment, which will result in 12 wind turbines producing a total of 25.2 MW, represents an investment of €30.5m, including equipment and infrastructure work. The average wind speed in the Sarajevo Canton where the new facility is planned is 7.7 meters per second. The first phase of the project will require an investment of just €1m. Suzlon is one of the largest producers of wind turbines in the world, employing over 8,500 people and operating in 18 countries.
