In an effort to increase sales, Teraplast Bistrita, the leading PVC producer in Romania, bought Interlemind, a Serbian producer of sandwich panels, for €4.3m. Teraplast is planning to invest a total of €11m in Serbia this year. The sandwich panel factory will mainly serve Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia, Croatia and Montenegro, as well as Hungary, Romania and Greece. The Teraplast Group is expecting a turnover of RON 434.6m for 2017 and a net profit of RON 38.1m.
