Tesař named Customer Service and Sales Director at Alza.cz

Miroslav Tesař, who joined the Czech online retailer Alza in 2016, has been named the company’s Customer Service and Sales Director. The two functions have been merged, according to Alza, because they are almost identical. Tesař, who has an Economics and Management degree from the Czech Agriculutural University (ČZU) will take over the Customer Service responsibilities from Martin Lakomý who is leaving after 14 year tenure in the position. He will not only oversee the company’s brick and mortar locations and showrooms but will also work on training employees and dealing with warranties and customer complaints. “The most important thing for us right now is to maintain the trend of improving customer satisfaction, not only at our various outlets but from our support staff as well. We’re entering a challenging period of process optimization and creating a customer care strategy,“ said Tesař.
