Uvertura Mall in the city of Botosani, the shopping center developed by the businessman Dănuţ Prisecariu will be opened at the end of March, making it the first shopping center opened this year in the country.
An investment of about €15m, the mall’s opening was delayed several times and currently has an occupancy rate of 82 percent. The project will have a GLA of approximately 15,000 sqm, including a five-screen multiplex cinema, a supermarket, and about 80 stores.
Mall representatives, however, have not yet revealed the name of its future tenants. Other shopping centers expected to open this year include AFI Palace Ploiesti, Corall Constanta and Promenada Bucharest.
