New York-based The Josephs Group has purchased a Publix Supermarket-anchored shopping center in Jacksonville. The $25.7 million sale, located in the 14000 block of Beach Boulevard near San Pablo Road was for the Medical & Merchants Center. The transaction marks the second Publix-anchored retail center to sell in Jacksonville in the past week. Lakeland-based Publix Supermarket Inc. purchased a shopping center at Atlantic and Hodges boulevards for $24 million.
