The liter of diesel in Romania jumped from the threshold of RON 9. Since the beginning of the year, diesel has risen by 50 percent and there is no sign that things will stop here.
In the Barbu Văcărescu area, Bucharest, no station sells standard diesel below the price of RON 9 per liter. The most expensive liter of diesel is still found in MOL stations in the area, while slightly cheaper fuel could be bought at Petrom or Lukoil gas stations.
In the area of consumer goods, milk rose by 7.4 percent in the first three months of the year compared to the same period last year, only animal feed having a faster rate of increase, 34 percent, in the period analyzed, according to the GfK data.
