The Zara store in Unirea Shopping Center in Bucharest has been closed after 13 years. Decreasing pedestrian traffic and the decline of the area as a result of the closure of several stores there are the reasons behind the decision. Thus, the consequences of the pandemic that has crushed the business environment from the inside are beginning to be seen.
According to Ziarul Financiar, since last year the officials of the Inditex group, the owner of Zara, were analyzing the situation of this flagship store after the last two years marked by the COVID-19 pandemic changed the face of the fashion industry and led to changes in consumer behavior.
