The Therme relaxation and wellness complex in Bucharest registered a decrease of revenues of 78 percent last year, reporting revenues of only RON 29.6 million, compared to 2019, when the turnover was RON 136 million.
Therme Bucharest is the largest Therme in Europe, built greenfield, on an area of 250,000 sqm, with a total indoor area of over 34,000 sqm and a capacity of 4,000 people simultaneously indoor.
The complex was opened in January 2016 after an initial investment of about EUR 50 million. Subsequently, the Austrian group A-Heat continued to invest in the unit, reaching a total of over EUR 100 million invested.
