Three new shopping centers are expected to open on the Romanian market this year. After successfully opening two shopping centers in Targu Jiu and Bucharest last year, NEPI is set to deliver Mega Mall this spring. The project will add 72,000 sqm of retail space to the Bucharest market. The developer also plans to open another commercial center in Timisoara later this year. Auchan, meanwhile, is scheduled to open Coresi Brasov, a €60m investment.
