Tomáš Soukup was named new head of JLL’s retail agency for the Czech Republic. Prior to joining JLL, Soukup worked for Retail Motions, where he dealt with retail clients, shopping centers and retail consultancy and advisory work since 2011. He also previously worked for Ikea Centre Czech Republic, where he was responsible for new developments and mall extensions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Prior to that, he worked for Cushman & Wakefield as part of their industrial and retail warehouse agency team, responsible for projects and clients across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Soukup worked on a variety of industrial developments, land acquisitions, retail warehouses/parks, shopping center developments and retail tenant representations over the years. He also provided advisory and leasing services to clients such as CPI, Immo East, Dandreet, Prior, Nutrend, Crestyl and Penta Investments. He graduated from the Anglo-American University in Prague.
