The Topolinski family won last autumn’s lawsuit over the Aversa land in Bucharest, which had been in court for almost ten years. Now Michael Topolinski is in talks with retailers for the first land sales on the former industrial site, whose buildings have been almost entirely demolished. Last year, Topolinski said a 10,500-square-foot site would be sold to a food retailer that he would announce after the deal was signed.
“We are in talks with Lidl and another retailer,” Michael Topolinski said.
Residential blocks as well as office towers will be built on Aversa’s ten hectares. The mixed-use project will include more than 35% of the land organised as green spaces. Investment will exceed €500 million.
