Triuva, German provider and manager of structured real estate products for institutional investors, has acquired a high-street retail property of around 2,220 sqm on Piazza della Repubblica in Florence for €37m. The seller of the asset is Banca Nazionale del Lavoro (BNL). The Californian tech company Apple is the property’s anchor tenant. The property, which is situated in the historic centre of Florence, was built in 1895. In 2012, the exterior fassade was initially renovated and then in 2015 this was followed by a complete refurbishment. Around 70% of the building is leased to Apple. Triuva was advised on the transaction by the law firm DLA as the legal advisor and by JLL as the technical and commercial advisor.
