LaSalle Investment Management has announced that Superdry, the British urban fashion brand, and DW Sports, the UK based retail and fitness brand, are due to open new stores this autumn at High Chelmer Shopping Centre, Chelmsford, totalling 17,000 sq ft of new retail.
Superdry, founded in Britain, but now retailing in over 100 countries worldwide, has exchanged on a 5,000sq ft unit opposite Office and Top Shop, which dramatically enhances the fashion offer at the scheme. DW Sports has also exchanged on a 12,000sq ft unit in close proximity to New Look.
These deals follow the recent openings of tReds, an affordable footwear retailer, Three, the UK’s fastest growing mobile network, and Thornton’s, the largest chocolate and confectionery company in the UK, joining an impressive retail line-up that includes Topshop and Primark.
Situated at the heart of Chelmsford’s City centre, High Chelmer is a shopping centre destination offering an unrivalled experience with 308,971 sq ft of retail. Chelmsford City Council is the freeholder of the scheme and is actively involved in its growing success.
