Unibail Rodamco has finished modernizing Centrum Chodov in Prague 4. The shopping center was expanded and now offers more than 100,000 sqm of retail space in 300 units. The refurbishment of the shopping center along D1 motorway in the busy Prague-Chodov business district cost the developer CZK 4.4bn (€170m) and took three years to complete. Centrum Chodov currently ranks as the second largest shopping center in Prague after OC Letňany, which stretches across 125,000 sqm. Among Centrum Chodov’s new tenants is Cinema City with 18 screening halls, seven of which are equipped with 3D technology. Three VIP halls offer 4DX, which can imitate weather, including rain or snow, light shows, scents or bubbles. “The Designer Gallery” is another new feature, offering a separate space for top designer fashion.
