Unirea Shopping Center in Bucharest will be linked next year to the Unirii subway station through an underground tunnel, where a 1,500 sqm commercial gallery will be built.
Mall representatives said they expect this €1m investment will increase the number of visitors by 20 percent.
The project is scheduled be completed by the middle of next year, said Carmen Palade Adamescu, president and CEO of Unirea Shopping Center, which is owned by the Adamescu family.
