The Veranda shopping center, developed by Prodplast Estate in the Obor district of Bucharest, is now 70 percent leased. The 2-level, 30,000 sqm project will be completed in Q4 of this year and will include over 100 shops, a hypermarket, restaurants, parking and a 15,000 sqm green area. The total investment in the project is €60m.
“We are already in advanced discussions with other tenants for an additional 10 percent of the rental area and we expect to have all the spaces occupied in the coming months,” said Andrei Pogonaru, member of the board of the company Prodplast Real Estate SA.
The biggest tenants at the center are a 10,000 sqm Carrefour hypermarket, and a 2,000 sqm H&M store.
