20 April 2021

Real estate developer VGP, founded by Belgian billionaire Jan Van Geet, has attracted EUR 600 million from the sale of its first issue of “green” bonds, funds that will be used also to finance projects in Romania.

The VGP Group is present in Romania with a network of four industrial parks, in Timișoara, Sibiu, Brașov and Arad, which are in different stages of development.

The real estate developer bought, in 2020, land in Romania with a total area of 513,000 sqm for future projects, and last month completed the acquisition of a land of about 25 hectares in Ștefăneștii de Jos for the company’s first logistics park in Bucharest.
