Voli secures €10m from EBRD to expand activities in Montenegro

2 October 2019

Voli is expanding its network in Montenegro. Thanks to a €10m loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the retailer is planning to open four new stores across the country, including a supermarket. It will renovate and expand five existing stores and train 750 students for sales and customer service positions. Voli operates 66 stores in Montenegro. “This is a nice continuation of our successful cooperation with Voli. Through continued support for the company, we are helping to develop the link between farmers and retail chains, as well as strengthening the private sector to become even more resilient and innovative,” said Jap Spray, head of the EBRD in Montenegro.
