W.B. Mason has extended its 16,909 sqf lease at 53 West 23rd Street. The office products dealer has used the space as a sales office for the past 10 years and will continue occupying the entire tenth floor for an additional 12 years. Built in 1915, 53 West 23rd Street is a 12-story building located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues with a tenant list that includes Saks, Inc., Anthony Lawrence of NY, 4 Kids Entertainment and Tremor Media, with P.C. Richard & Son taking up the property’s retail space. Both the tenant and landlord, Twenty Three R.P. Associates, were represented by James Buslik and Alan Bonett of Adams & Co.
“53 West 23rd Street draws in high-profile companies like W.B. Mason due to the appealing office layouts that allow for an efficient sales office with enough space to collaborate,” said James Buslik, Adams & Co. “As the tenant’s lease neared its end, W.B. Mason evaluated its need for a full-floor office in Manhattan. The floor plan, brand new lobby and reasonable rent for Midtown South made the company’s decision to stay at 53 West 23rd Street an easy one.”
