Westfield Chodov in Prague has begun offering shoppers the ability to pick up goods they ordered online from certain stores in the line from the mall’s parking lot. It’s a new service that goes against the usual strategy of having customers enter the mall to pick up their goods. “We go the idea from our colleagues in the United States where this option of picking up goods has been very popular and a lot of customers got used to it very quickly,” said Westfield Chodov’s marketing manager Pera Valentova. Among the stores that have signed on to the service are Hervis Sports, Oxalis Dessous, Lindt, as well as the restaurants Apetit and The Pub. Marks & Spencer and Tescoma will join the program in the coming days.
