Carrefour will partner with White Star Real Estate to develop the first outlet center in the city of Bydgoszcz. Called Metropolitan, the investment will replace a shopping center operating at Al. Jana Pawła II street, near city’s airport and main road hubs. The 11,500 sqm project will house more than 60 brands, with Carrefour anchoring the center. JLL is handling the leasing.
“As a part of our long-term strategy for the Polish market, our goal is to increase the value of the portfolio by providing modern, attractive retail space,” said Ronan Martin, deputy CEO of Carrefour. “Metropolitan Outlet Bydgoszcz is another investment to remodel, expand and recommercialize our portfolio.”
