Tuesday brought slight gains on Warsaw’s stock exchange with the market’s most liquid businesses rising 1.3 percent, following a 1.5 percent slump yesterday before closing time. Trading volume hadn’t reached PLN 5m before noon for the 20 biggest listed companies, but KGHM, Pekao, and TP.S.A. drove the indexes up since the beginning of a day. Yesterday’s losses could be over for now, but small trades calls for cautions from the investors, and suggest that the biggest hitters are still steering clear of the market.
