10 October 2017

Grocery retail chain Yeme plans to open its own distribution center as part of its expansion efforts in Slovakia. Yeme will lease 1,650 sqm of space near the M.R.Štefánik airport in Bratislava and plans to open the center by the end of this year. The distribution center will include storage space and food production and will create 300 new jobs. Yeme opened its first store in Bratislava in the former Ikea building one and half years ago. Since then, the chain opened two new stores in the capital’s Horsky Park and Panorama City areas. Yeme reported revenues of €8m in its first year.
