German fashion e-retailer Zalando will start construction on its fourth fulfillment center in Germany in October. The new logistics facility is set to go up in Lahr, near Strasbourg. Zalando will partner with Goodman on the 130,000 sqm center, which will serve customers in Germany, Switzerland and France. Test operations at the new site are scheduled for fall 2016. Goodman already built two 125,000 sqm logistics centers for Zalando in Erfurt and Mönchengladbach. The retailer also operates a 25,000 sqm logistics center in Brieselang, near Berlin.
