ZE PAK ready to modernize and launch the power line connecting Poland and Ukraine

ZE PAK is ready to undertake the immediate modernization and commissioning of the 750 kV power line connecting Poland and Ukraine on the Polish section and energy transmission to Ukraine, the company said.

According to the media and public statements of Herman Halushchenko, the Ukrainian energy minister, Ukraine has asked European countries to urgently synchronize its energy system with the network of European Union operators. For this, Ukraine must connect with the countries of the European Union. Poland can do this. inter alia, through the existing, but not operating at present, 750 kV line, it was announced.

ZE PAK is ready to undertake the immediate modernization and commissioning of this line. The company has already submitted an application to Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne, it was also announced.

The ZE PAK Group operates in the area of ​​lignite mining, as well as the generation and sale of electricity and heat. The company has been listed on the WSE since 2012. Its consolidated revenues amounted to PLN 2.21 billion in 2020.
