Zoppas Industries, which operates a factory in Romania in Sânnicolau Mare, Timiş County, last year achieved a turnover of over RON 1 billion (EUR 205.2 million), increasing by 30 percent compared to the previous year.
Both in terms of turnover and number of employees, the local representative of the Italian group Zoppas is one of the largest players in the field of household appliances and components for household appliances. The factory in Timiş County was opened more than two decades ago, in 1997, following an investment of over USD 50 million, according to data from that time.
The Italian group, with a history of over 50 years, has factories in several European countries, but also in the USA, Mexico or China.
