Hungary’s trade surplus increased by €1.3bn to €9.9bn in 2016, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Taking the whole year into account, the value of exports amounted to €93bn, while imports totaled €83.1bn. The volume of exports was up by 4.4 percent and imports jumped by 4.7 percent, compared to 2015, according to KSH.
