Carrefour opened a new supermarket in Bucharest’s Lujerului district today. The store is located across the street from the Cora Lujerului supermarket. The Carrefour supermarket will offer 6,400 products, including more than 1,000 products under its own brand that are at least 20 percent cheaper than other brands on the market.
Carrefour has 173 stores in its Romanian network, including 27 hypermarkets, 92 Market supermarkets, 44 Express convenience stores, nine Contact convenience stores and an online store.
