Tristan Capital buys Neukölln Arcaden in Berlin

Tristan Capital Partners III acquired the Neukölln Arcaden shopping center in Berlin from AXA Realty Solutions for €65.6m. JLL, Olswang, gfp Real Estate Advisors and PricewaterhouseCoopers acted as consultants. Located on Karl-Marx-Strasse, the property will be held in Tristan’s Curzon Capital Partners (CCP) III core-plus fund. Neukölln Arcaden, which opened in 2000, offers 37,900 sqm of space and includes 46 retail shops, a nine-screen cinema, a public library, a post office and parking on its upper floors for 650 cars. CCP III also recently purchased a 9,300 sqm mixed-use building adjacent to the Karstadt department store in Munich for €62.2m from Credit Suisse’s CS Euroreal open-ended real estate fund.
