While the necessary building permits have been in place since 2010, construction of a 17-story, 27,000 sqm office building on Corneliu Coposu Boulevard in downtown Bucharest has just now gotten underway.
C&I Building, the project’s developer, revealed the building’s exteriors will be covered in glass. The building site used to house a children’s playground, which was demolished before construction began. C&I’s shareholders include the controversial businessman Costel Casuneanu, who is called the “Asphalt King” of Romania.
