The first outlet center for Poland’s eastern region is set to go up in the city of Białystok by the end of next year. The Blue Ocean Investment Group, BOIG, will be leading the project, that’s expected to add more than 13,000 sqm of new retail space to the local market. Investors hope to attract 80 fashion brands with the project. “Well-known fashion brands see the potential of outlets. Outlet centers gives them an opportunity to reach a wider range of consumers,” said Jan Wciślak, Leasing Manager at BOIG. “Poland is still a large market with great potential.”
The project is set to open in November 2013.
