The transfer of approximately PLN 150 million of EU funds from regional programs to help refugees from the territory of Ukraine and to support people receiving them from Poland has been announced by Grzegorz Puda, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.
“We have prepared solutions within our ministry that will facilitate access to these European funds. At the moment, under regional programs, this amount will be about PLN 150 million, which we will transfer for those involved, for people who came from Ukraine,” said Puda during a conference press release.
“The aid that we are giving at the moment, that we are moving as part of the relocation of financial resources, within this flexibility, is emergency aid. We are looking for a solution that will be able to function in the near term,” he emphasized.
