The Internet company Seznam.cz will allocate up to CZK 100 million to support non-profit organizations and activities associated with the integration of Ukrainians who decide to relocate to the Czech Republic as a result of Russian military aggression. The company announced this on its blog today.
The planned assistance should include both financial support for domestic associations and organizations that plan to work with refugees in current or future projects, and activities that will be targeted at specific groups of the population, whether it is teaching children or promoting employment.
“We assume that people fleeing Ukraine consider the Czech Republic as one of the possible destinations in which they will either temporarily hide or stay here permanently. Therefore, we want to help with their integration into the domestic economy and society,” said Seznam owner Ivo Lukačovič.
