The PPF group and The Kellner Family Foundation will provide CZK 100 million for the education and integration of children of the refugees from Ukraine, which is currently faced with Russian invasion, they agreed with Education Minister Petr Gazdik today, PPF wrote on its web.
The contract on the financial gift is to be signed in the days to come.
PPF wrote that the group’s individual companies are each preparing its forms of aid, including employee fund raising events and volunteers’ work.
Apart from PPF, a number of other Czech firms and entrepreneurs have envisaged financial aid to Ukrainians.
Ivo Lukacovic, who owns the Seznam.cz Internet firm, said last week that he would provide CZK 23 million in aid of the refugees.
Alza.cz, an online retailer, has earmarked CZK 24 million for this purpose, and over CZK 20 million has also been provided for immediate humanitarian aid by the Pale Fire Capital investment group.
